So let me teach you how to install a lace frontal wig without glue, hope we can provide a easy way.
Before you wear a wig, you need to bleach knots, pluck hairline and cut the lace, then we could get start. If you don’t know how to do there, there are other blogs that can teach you how to bleach knots, how to pluck hairline, even how to cut the lace.
These things needed:
Wig cap
Tail comb
Hot comb
Alcohol
Napkin
Blow dryer
Holding hair spray
Pin
Edge brush
Lace frontal wig
The hairline of this wig has been plucked and the knot has been bleached, d the lace has been cut off. This is a wig that has already been worn. Now I will show you how to wear it again without glue.Let’s get started.
Step 1:
Put on wig cap, pick one that is closest to your skin or maybe a shade or two lighter because your scalp is lighter than your skin.
Step 2:
The most important thing that we need to talk about the flawless install is your lace, it's all about the lace depending on your skin tone is gonna determine what kind of lace you want. However I always recommend everyone either get transparent or HD. Because transparent can be tinted to match your skin perfectly and HD just lays like nothing. Look at this lace, it is really invisible, and this is a HD swiss lace wig from WigEncounters.
Step 3:
First use a rat-tail comb to unclog the hair back to avoid tangling the hair when wearing it. Then use a hot comb to comb the hair along the direction of the hairline, and pull this hairline back so that all the hair will be a little out of the way according to your lace.
Step 4:
Put the prepared wig on your head first, and spray alcohol on the napkin. Then wipe the part along the hairline with a damp napkin, clean up this area of the hairline.Do not leave any residues of cosmetics or oils in this area, because by mixing these, the hair spray will not be as effective.
Step 5:
Turn on the hair dryer to cool mode, then spray some hairspray on the hairline area. Once I spray it, I will take the hair dryer and start blowing on the sprayed area, so that each part goes back and forth several times.Just blow dry this part until it's not wet anymore ,and then I just kind of let it air dry until it's tacky. When you touch this and it's sticky ,it is time to lay it down.
Step 6:
Pull this part of the hairline lace to the place where there is hairspray, press it down and let these two parts fit together.
Step 7:
If you have some hairspray outside of your lace, just pressing with comb, there are a few pieces of hair that are getting stuck into the hairspray , but that's not a big deal at all one or two piece is fine it's almost like baby hair.
Step 8:
Pin the side hair to back, the remaining a few little areas like edges that need to be stuck down a little bit better ,just lift the edge of or the corner up as far as it can it's stuck right there, ,then gonna spray in this area blow-dry and attach the wing.
Step 9:
Use the comb part of my little edge brush to make sure that these hairs laying this way aren't getting too stuck in the hairspray.
